Layered Learning: Precepting Students and Residents All at Once! 
12:30-1:45 p.m.
Preceptors often precept more than one learner at a time, which can be challenging but also rewarding and helpful to your practice. During this session, precepting tips for the layered learning practice model will be discussed. Attendees will explore ways to ensure the clinical learning environment is individualized for learners who are APPE students, PGY1 residents, and PGY2 residents.

Those Pesky Policies: Developing Effective Residency Policies

Characteristics of sound human resources policies that protect both the resident and the residency program will be discussed, along with recent changes to the Standard related to residency policies.

Connecting the Dots in Residency Programs from Objective to Activity through Feedback and Evaluation

It can often be a struggle for preceptors to connect the objective to the activity and in turn providing feedback for success in achieving an objective. This session will focus on strategies to align the objective to the activity and ideas for providing meaningful feedback. Options for documenting feedback in PharmAcademic will be explored.

PharmAcademic Essentials: A Preceptor's Guide
Pharmacy preceptors will explore the essentials of PharmAcademic, enabling them to efficiently review and provide feedback on resident progress. The presentation will demonstrate how to complete key PharmAcademic tasks, such as reviewing and completing required evaluations, submitting the electronic Preceptor Academic and Professional Record (APR), and accessing important instructions and updates on the PharmAcademic Help Center.
